Apple online store Here are the UK prices and specs http://store.apple.com/Apple/WebObje....0.5.1.2.1.1.0 I was considering build a cube PC but this is much cheaper. I have a 30" LCD TV with VGA input. This would be ideal. [Edited on 11-1-2005 by chrisw] |
I stand happily corrected. Bit pricey at about £680 (£105 for bluetooth, kb & mouse) for a wireless one with 512Mb ram, but very trick if you happen to have a decent size LCD tv in your living room. [Edited on 12-1-2005 by ali] |
Lol! It triples in price by the time you've added enough bits to make it worthwhile and then VAT on top! |

42" Plasma in the lounge, and already have a spare BT keyboard and mouse. The bluetooth is an extra option at $50.00 or BT & Wireless for $129 Looks like the UK price is the US price + VAT based on current exchange rate. My biggest query is whether it'll handle my display correctly with a widescreen aspect ratio - I just checked, it does. I see the iPod shuffle's available too.. [Edited on 12-1-2005 by Mr_S] |

The Mac mini won't be available until January 22nd - http://www.macworld.com/news/2005/01...note/index.php Demand could be high, but I hope you manage to grab one from an Apple store! The UK basic price is also a bit less than I expected. I was honestly thinking Apple would price this above £400 for the basic unit. Cheers Phill |
Already considered that it may not be available until then, if it's not, I'll get it shipped via my US Office as internal test & demo kit the following week..... |
