Cheers Frank, that link's exactly what I was looking for before dropping the forks out next weekend!

Had a look at the code and cant work out what could be giving you tech difficulties. The pictures aren't that big so I guess it must be a clash with your browser version. Are you using Windows? IE? A vintage calculator??

Cheers,

ali

nice update Ali - she's really coming along.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your novelty kill-switch positioning is not going to pass scrutineering. The rules say that the "Electric starter switch and engine stop switch must be located on the handlebars."

Since there's no room between the grip and the master cylinder, perhaps you can mount it in place of your bar-end weight? If you could also be so kind as to attach an extra large handle to this switch, the other DD racers would be ever so grateful.

Ditch the lights cluster on the left clip-on and put it there instead.

Sweet.....I like the new m/cylinder, very nice.

I ended up having to rotate the throttle assembly so that the cables were on the underside - It did leave a bit more free space on the 'bar.

Halfords also do nice custom type sockets will Allen fittings over and above 14mm - I got a full set from a autojumble with differing 'bits' that does the same job.

Unfortunately the cables are too long due to the drop from the clipons. I'll look into making up shorter cables at a later date.

Good tip. I'll keep an eye out as I'm sure to need it for changing to wets....:frog::lol:

You may be lucky and just be able to route it slightly differently (or just cut a few zip-ties!) to get it to reach, but if not just make up a short extension lead for it.
