RR, Sorted thanks on a temp basis. Ducsoon, Got a few booked there as well as others, check out the site in my signature for dates and locations? Roll on wednesday and a new track. Never ridden this one before at all so will be a vigin track. Circuit guide shows lots of sweeping corners and a few tighter ones to throw in the mix, cant wait! |

Ducsoon? There are quite a few trackday companies here, I would say if you were that way inclined you coud do trackdays every day of the week for at least 6 months if you had the money. Oulton Park usually runs 2 a week from now until October for example |

Wow........ :o i'm jealous :( You lucky *******s. Here you have like 2 or 3 track days a year with luck. It was better some years ago but now it just sucks. That's why i gave up on having a track bike (i had two). I also raced in an amateur class (just for fun) and was planning to race this year too, but with the accident i had last November and this steel bar on my leg i can't kneedrag on the right corners (for now :D) so i had to quit this year. :flame: How much do you pay for a track day there, in average? And how many sessions of how many time do you have? [Edited on 22-3-2005 by DucSoon?] |
Duc Track days vary in price hugely depending on the circuit and time of year. I guess the average for a good track in summer is around 150 quid. Normally get about 7 20 minute sessions through the day |

150 is a bit more than you pay here, but for 7 sessions of 20 minutes it's worth it. Here we usually just have like 4 sessions of 30 minutes. But to have those many options is just great. Consider yourselfs lucky :) |
i reckon 30 minutes may be too much for me. i struggle to make 7 sessions at 20 mins a go, especially early in the year. I need to build up some wrist strength and general fitness for bike riding. |

I hear you and i agree. Not in track days, but in race pace i usually get too tired after 30 minutes. |
Well just popped over to see Old Yella and see how he was getting on, Hmmm bike in a few bits looks like the clutch slave has given up the ghost, but he's upright and the bike is technically in one piece, me thinks it's held together with grime and chain loob :P Nice and warm over there again, and plenty of smiles so all is well, good to meet up again anyways. |
AND.... I definitely saw Yella with a handbag.... may even have a picture of it. Now he never really struck me as .... well you know.... that way inclined. Guess you just never know with some ;) :D |
A handbag?? If it was a purse i would say you've spotted McGay :D Ahh... and yes. Pics!!! please :D:D |
