I lost two plates last year.:(
I had to put an even smaller one on!

I forgot to mensh that the relocator brings the plate close enough to rub on the rear tyre when on a bumpy road.

Yup. Kinda knew it was going to happen sooner or later. Just looking at it - the thing is just not man enough to hold a 'legal' size plate with a single bolt. I lost the plate so bought 2 replacements ;) It's back on the standard hanger but I plan, at some point, to make up a 'tidier' version that mounts to the original under can nuts. At some point...

By the way, is the red plastic rectangular under the original plate mandatory to be legal??? ...it is installed also in the sbwell's plate picture...

Yeap thats all legal in NZ. Need to keep the reflector for an MOT over here. I think the weight of the refletor and the tax / rego on the inside of the plate caused the Casoli upper bracket to break. So I made one out of brass that won't. First metal thing I've ever made.
