Is there no other way you could get there for the races? Small consolation I know, but better than missing everything? You need someone with a sidecar outfit to take you! :eureka: [Edited on 12-4-2005 by HW] |

Don't worry about it, it will come back. I've just ridden into the office on the 996, the first time I've ridden it since Rocky last year. It felt completely alien after the monster! I can't believe how fast it is, and that was taking it easy because it has brand new tyres on it! Sheesh! It will just take a while to get used to it and then you'll be fine. :) |

I bet you are, I bet that hurts! It's not the easiest of injuries to get over, I hope you get better soon. Take it easy, and OWN the remote :D |

Wow, that trully sucks :( I feel sorry for you, i would love to see the WSB at monza. Anyway..... at least you hooked some people to MotoGP :D |
I'm sorry to hear about that injury, Chris. Sounds really nasty. You should just console yourself with the thought that everything that's fun has an element of risk. That's what makes it fun. Personally, I think rugby looks fuggin' dangerous - more dangerous than ladies hockey, and that's saying something! And maybe this injury will keep you away from biking for a while but maybe, had you been out on your bike instead of playing rugby, something worse would have happened. Hey ho, I'm not helping much am I? Get well soon. :bouncy::bouncy::bouncy::bouncy: |
Total bummer which leg right or left ? :saint: |
I sympathise with you Chris. I did mine about 3 seasons ago last game of season, Being self employed had to get my wife to drive the van for 6 months!. September was the first time i felt safe to ride. Good news is it takes a while but it will be as good as new with exercise. |
Sorry to hear the bad news mate :o Cannot Begin to imagine what that must be like... Not being able to ride for the rest of the summer ... Hope you have a speedy recovery. |
sorry about delay getting back to pc-- not easy. its my left leg. wouldn't trust being in sidecar,, it was all about the solo riding and spending a couple of days messing about on pyrenese. thanks for all the best wishes,, really appreciate it.. thanks |

Fly down Chris, or get a mate to take a car rather than the bike. My 996 spat me off at Brands in May 2000, broke both wrist's, had to go to WDW 10 days later in a car-but I still went. John |
