The seat took under a week to arrive. I bought standard Superlight seat mounting plates from Snells and discovered that the rubber blocks that sit between mounting plate and frame are identical to the tank locating blocks - and I had a gash tank with a set of blocks so it was easy. Tony Brancato sells it all as a kit, too. Or do what I do with my 888, put some pipe insulation on the frame tubes and glue a strip of rubber onto the seat unit so that it sits on the frame rails. Cheers, Paul |
That looks proper, Paul. Nice one and good luck. |
Very pretty Paul-but wouldn't it have saved time to have painted it dusty gravel colour to start with..............:lol::lol: John |
Very well presented Mr P! I'll lay odds she goes as well as she looks too :o I've seen several very well turned out machines all ready to go for DD, I shall be embarrassed to ride on the same piece of track as you lot so I think you should all ride about a half a lap behind :frog: |

half a lap in front Paul:devil: |
Nice work paul- i'll see you cadwell next week:cool: |
Home safe and sound - unlike my mate who got the second part of Charlie's wrong and ended up in the tyre wall - but unhurt. Lap times nothing too spectacular, but the bike was running weak at the top end so the straights were a big yawn and the steering head bearings are definitely shot so braking was a bit of a lottery. Plenty of time to sort that before the weekend - if not I'll be using all you fast guys to stop me! ;) |
You were looking smooth at Cadders. I followed you for a lap or so on the black 748. Your bike looks pretty too :D [Edited on 25-4-2005 by domskidue] |
