nice 1 m8, i had my first track day on friday, just like u i was enjoying it untill i binned it after getting too cocky. get an experienced rider and tag along with him, ask him to give you some advice. eg reference points, braking markers, lines. /ian |
Anyone who has not been on a track day but has an inner desire to do so. GET OUT THERE! Don’t worry about your ability, just book one, go and have the best fun you can have on a bike. My cousin came to snett with me for his first day binnd it and still can’t wait to get back out there. In fact he fell off in the second session and had to get the bike cobbled back together so he didn’t miss the next one. So you can get hooked even if you crash. It will improve your riding We all take far more risk every time we go out on the road. Cocky on the track............... back here to chat Cocky on the road................____l_l_l_l________l__________ _______end :saint: |
Just taken a £65 cheque off Chippy tonight so that he can bring his 749 along to Llandow on may the 27th to experience his first ever trackday, hopefully the weather will be kind to us and we can all have a great time |
WOOHOO! Sorry said that a bit loud didn't I? Glad you had a good time Necro...So then whens the next one!:lol::lol: |
Necro Try the Ron Haslam race school, an excellent day that will build your confidence on track no end. Mike:bouncy: |
Either the Ron Haslam OR the Mick Bodice race school at Darley Moor which is just as good but cheaper. I did that 2 years ago and improved my road and track day riding no end:smug: |
