Yep - they have been lifted. I couldn't give you exact measurements because I don't really know. Yes we both have ohlins rear's and a longer spring with heavier fork oil as well but probably the biggest impact on steering would be the raising of the bike. Another change he made which has had a HUGE impact (for me anyway) is the Performance Friction pads. Lots of feel from the front. If you either of you want to ride it you're more than welcome to. I'll be at Brands on the 25th of this month for one of the FE evenings or Castle Combe next Wednesday. Just let me know. |
mines level at the front too (up 10 mm ish) and up about 25mm at the rear but will be interesting to compare. mines seems to handle ok. like i could tell the difference anyway! |
i was having huge clearance problems at brands before mine was changed, both pipes touching down and bellypan left right and at rear. all seemed fine at cadwell but really need to do brands indy again to know for sure. |

When you take your bike to Sigma Performance it's not because you're trying to do things on the cheap ;) Obviously a new ohlins shock was the single biggest expense but Neil's labour/specialist knowledge isn't cheap either. :( (where's the crying smilie?) The pads are f*%&ing awesome!!!!! When I rode the bike before giving it to Neil it felt sloppy, remote and the brakes were what I would have expected of a 620 monster aimed at girls and first time bike riders. Now they feel better than my 996 brakes and the only change was the pads! |
Monster frames of any era are the ones to go for as they have proper rear suspension layout as per the 888 racers, whereas the sluttysports have the shock laying down ;) |

I was just wondering what (English) people could think about that... I really hope that anybody won't be offensed by this as there is nothing nasty in it from a French point of view. Cheers, Tonio - froggy :D |

Sorry about that, I wanted to edit my post to change "there is nothing" to "there isn't anything" which is better English I think... [Edité le 11-5-2005 par Tonio600] |
Well it made me laugh and I'm English, so I wouldn't worry about it :D |

You also need to change "offensed" to "offended" ;) |
