Give me call I have a plan for you:eureka: While I have a chance I wondered what peoples view is on the systems we would like to use for the Transponder hire on our events. Transponders can be hired at £10.00 per day which covers their accidental damage, if you don't want to pay this then you will need a £200.00 cash deposit to cover it which you will get back in full when you return the transponder. The bracket can be purchased for £5.00 or again a £5.00 cash deposit for the loan of one which will be refundable. If you are a club member then you can buy a transponder from our site and we will offer the following buy back. One-year-old £120.00 Two years old £80.00 Three years old £40.00 Please let me have your thoughts on this. Thank you all for your support and your feedback, this product is new and without that feedback we will never be able to develop it at the speed we are. |
Seems fine to me. One of the problems seems to be that people are not aware of the required transponder charges before they arrive. I realise that you do communicate this in the literature that you send out beforehand, but this is obvioulsy getting missed. Perhaps this needs to be made a lot clearer on the paperwork? Also, another suggestion may be that at your morning briefing, a sample listing of the timings from a previous event (taken from the website) could be shown (as part of your powerpoint presentation) and this would show what the punters could expect to receive. I know that you also covered how individuals could perhaps note what changes (if any) were made before each session, so that they could match this up to the timings once they received them. This was communicated by you on my recent Sports day, but not by yTony McBride at the recent Pace day. Whilst I'm in creative mood - how about the possibility of providing a printout of laptimes at the end of the day (rather than the next day via the website) - this may not be feasible, but would add value to the useage (and cost) of the transponders a lot quicker. When its a long drive home, I reckon it would be useful to have a printout and reflect ton the day? Good luck Tim |
Nice reply there Tim, to notch sales Executive stuff. ;) |

Its all about giving the punters what they expect and more, with no nasty surprises. The use of questionnaires is always a strong Customer Services tool, the problem is how to get anyone to complete them!!! The threat of violence can be administered, but it tends to have a detrimental effect on customer loyalty!!! ;) Tim |
Please don't refer to me has a punter Tim!! Your begining to sound like a bookie now:) [Edited on 16-5-2005 by Jon] |
