Indeed it was, good spot! Looks like I'm going to need a tray for all these drinks :) Cheers for the welcome. Phil |
Whilst you're at the bar.... Nice to have all these new people joining the board :) You've done the right thing! :D |
Phil, Your new 916 is so immaculate that I immediately recognised it as Walenut's, as some time ago he posted the same picture of it when he'd finished the work on it. In fact I thought it was so nice that I asked him to let me know if he was ever going to sell it, obviously he forgot (or more likely I failed to make any impression on him). Still, my loss is your gain. Enjoy it. p.s. let me know if you're ever selling it ! |
It was more of a private PX deal, right time, right place etc. which is probably why he didn't speak to you first. I finally managed to prise the keys out of his hands last night along with a big wad of cash :burn: By the time we got back onto the M25 last night I figured we were safe from him changing his mind. I've got boxes and boxes of bits as well! Phil |
Have another pic and look at all this loveliness :) Phil |
Prepare to spend a lot of time glancing back over your shoulder when you get of it (and for onlookers to do the same). Great looking Duke. Welcome to the club! |
That's one fine example of a piece of motorcycling history. Beautiful, original, showroom condition (think I just come). Watch the stone chips, they'll break your heart ! Delooney. |
