The rules about speed cameras are really simple. 1. Know your fav roads 2. Know where the speed cameras are on your fav roads 3. Slow down for speed camera (unless bike can do over 170 mph) 4. Speed up after speed camera I think that s it. |
Am I being stupid here, If the camera is pointing at you, it can't read your plate? Or are the new ones pointing from behind? What about mobile vans, they are also pointing at you so how do they get your reg? Paul (probably being a tw@t) |
At the moment the rules are plain to see, You speed, you get caught, you get prosecuted! If you want to argue the debate of whether this camera or that policy is right, then fair enough, and you may even have a point in some cases. But the above still applies! I guess its just a way of life that we seem to complain once were caught out, looking for some minor loop hole or injustice. I find the bullish talk somewhat tainted with bravado, and at the least irresponsible. |
Just a thought - If we all (and I do mean all) stick to the limits for one month, how many police forces / camera partnerships would go bust ???? That said, the simple solution is not to speed - then you don't have to worry about getting caught. Overstating the obvious I know, but a lot of drivers/riders out there don't seem to have realised this. Tis quite amusing watching a long queue developing behind me in 40mph stretches :P |
