Ali's off to Snet this evening with TP but I saw him this afternoon and, I have to say, he's obsessed. He was doing some T cutting, which seems a bit futile given the state of the bike now, having dropped it for nth time. Didn't want to discourage though, as he was clearly having fun. He then got a bit of sand paper (?? may have been something else but it looked like sand paper to me) and gently rubbed it in and out of two 2" (ish) slots on the ... silver bit between the handle bars...). And all the time chatting enthusiastically about all and sundry. He is definitely a happy bunny. I hope the other DD racers are getting as big a kick out of their racing.

From a spectators point of view he certainly is giving good value for money. I love his balls out style.
The betting on his exit lap is growing stronger race by race. When he stays on I like what I see. He will be a blinding mechanic by the time he’s finished.
