I live 5 minutes south of the Blackwall and have been through there on many many occasions ... its quite a narrow tunnel so the noise is close ..... went through there a couple of years ago accompanied by 6 other dukes and not a road legal termi in sight ... stunning ...... |
Try going north around the M25 after the Brands round of WSB, going through the Dartford tunnel with a hundred or so bikes even if they are Multi's, sounds just awsome, hardly hear your self think:cool: Chris.:burn: |

Try Bologna to Florence! Man they are some serious tunnels, then 3 monsters with rather loud cans can booming past, class. |
I used to always back fire our sherpa vans thru` the tunnel years ago and you can actually hear the sound wave travel along the tunnel, seriously loud! Quite awsome really! |
The north bound Blackwall is best, 'cos it's narrower and has more bends to accelerate towards and then slow down for (Get the open airbox sounding on the overrun BBBWWWWORRRRRRRRRRRRR.........) :bouncy::bouncy: Darren |
There's a new tunnel up near the top of the Pas de la Casa going into Andorra, its about 2 km long, i got a big smile and thumbs up from the toll booth operator after giving the bike full throttle through there last year:lol: |
I've got standard cans but I can never resist revving it in confined spaces, even for a couple of seconds passing under a raliway bridge. Will be going as noisily as possible through Rotherhythe on Saturday. That's a really old narrow tunnel which gives a special sound too. It is such a thrill to hear that bike. I love it! Good thread BC - good to see I'm not the only noise pollutionist around :D |
Yes, I went throght the Blackwall Tunnel on the way to Dibble's on Sunday, and through the Dartford Tunnel on the way home from Brands on Monday. 996 SPS, 50mm Termi's - yum. |
