The strainer is under the plug that is beneath the clutch cover. When that plug has been removed and the oil let loose, you will need a 14mm Allen key to extract the strainer. Its a tubular fine gauze in nylon and about 120mm long and 22mm diameter. |
I think the one on Jim's is attached to the bolt head so it's a one piece not two piece version. Chris:burn: |

Found it ! It's under the temp. sensor housing nut (21mm) situated just under the clutch casing. There is also a drain bung directly below it, accessed form underneath. |
