Hope you get it sorted soon, and glad you didn't come off worse as well. Any accident you walk away from is a result in my opinion.

ah booger indeed Loz, sorry to hear about the bike, but glad you're ok. Is some of the destroyed stuff not useable for track day kit - it doesn't matter one jot what it looks like as long as it's secure, you might be surprised what on first glance looks like it's a gonner but with a bit of fibreglass repair, a hammer and some cable ties is back in working order.

Take care mate

Cheers John. I'll figure it all out eventually.
Like you say, it's not the bike's appearance that matters! ;)

I think it was that some folks shouldn't have one, Andy! :P

Blimey Loz, that's more damage than I did at Brands! The tank is ok though, right?

Funnily enough, I can tell you how much some of those parts are from Ducati (via ProTwins inc VAT):

RH clipon: 360.1.043.1A £51.65
Front brake resevoir: 585.4.004.1A £22.58
RH mirror holder bracket: 829.2.384.1AC £39.46
Front brake lever: 631.4.019.1A £59.27
RH footrest: 464.1.006.1A £15.36
RH footrest bracket: 824.1.083.1A £52.39
Rear RH indicator: 531.1.001.1A £13.15

The rest is a bit frightening... like the mono seat unit both parts comes to £578 :o

There's quite a bit on ebay at the moment:
front mud guard
Brake lever, master cylinder & resevoir
RH mirror

But note that my ebay id is Zinc-Protest so please don't bid against me :D (I'm sure you'll come across at least one item that I'm bidding on at the moment ;) )

If you need any bits to get back on the road, I have std footpegs, clip ons, brake pedal, gear levers, throttle, off of my bike, you can borrow till you get supplied if it helps?

Loz 07-Aug-2005 15:52

Michael, thanks for the info mate. Don't worry, I won't crowd you on ebay! :)

Andy, that's a kind offer which I appreciate. There's too much to sort in time for 10 August and no immediate hurry after that, so I shall start haunting ebay for now, I guess. Thanks for offering (once again) to bail me out.

Cheers guys.

If anyone is selling bits I've listed, don't be shy!
