Won't fit a 749S - I'm sure the Rs have a larger bore. |
I think ,again, All 749 and 999 pipes are the same in std assymetric trim. The only time any bore changes is if you go to an equal system ie 54mm 57mm! The co2 will be sert as part of the 4 gas analysis, Particularly when you set up on a dyno.....this is what you are setting up. Wait til you start talking about lamda............... |

I thought the cans on the Rs had bigger inlet bores? Didn't think they were the same bore as a 749 Dark?????? |

The bores are the same. The only thing as keefy says may be the routing of the front pipe for a deep sump...... |
I remember looking into the difference between the R and standard termi system and keefy is right. However I think you can get an adapter to sort this problem out... Don't quote me on that though :o |
not exactly sure what I have in the way of pipe work,as I need to clear out the garage! The 999R can will be £50....if I have any other bits,I'll let you know......:burn: |
Sye, ive managed to get hold of a standard 749 can but thanks anyway. if you have any other bits please let me know :) Indigo, what has the full mod done to your midrange? do you lose out to gain top end etc:puzzled: |
The bike now has a very small flat spot around the 3k mark which the Dyno tech couldn't dial out... Apart from that the bike now pulls like a train through the rev range. I would say that it feels smoother than before. |
No problem Duck.....:burn: |
