I've been told that a road engine can take between 10 and 15 thousand miles to be fully run in. On my R6 I ran semi synthetic upto 12000miles the bike had constantly kept making more power from new with more noticable increases when the oil was changed. I then switched to Pro 4 fully synthetic and there was an even more noticable increase in performance that even my mates noticed.
I was planning to do the same with the 749 I've just bought is this what you would recommend?
