Many thanks for the offer, but I have a three stage strategy:
1/ Go down from Inters to Novices
2/ Do the sighting laps to secure sponsorship
3/ Miss calls to subsequent sessions due to over-loud "motivational" music being played on iPod

Alternatively, I could try something completely new and just ride competently and within my abilities!

I might go that way anyway, or up the A3, although Hindhead is a real pain sometimes. The M3 has roadworks on it south of you. And the A3 is more direct.

I don't have enough time to pop over and see Steve and muck around with tyres today.

I'm likely just to chill out a bit this evening, and enjoy it.
