I would'nt do it, you will just end up feeling frustrated, and possibly end up doing something you would regret to get past a slower rider. When I first started track days, there was always the fast guy in the slow group showing how 'good' he was to us slower guys, which usually ended with words in the paddock. Save your money for next year :D:D

Decided against booking. Looking at it from a novice's point of view, I wouldn't be too happy.

I sure there'll be other days that don't clash with work - might have to do TA5 now :eureka:

Why not book it and wait for someone to come off in either the inters or fast? Not exactly nice willing someone to come off, but someone will sooner or later

I've got LOTS of space in fast group for you at TA5-in fact currently you will almost have the place to yourself.............

The TD in question isn't a local track. I'd be riding up the day before & staying in B&B, so wouldn't really want to be sat around.
