Here is a picture of the spider spring, I should imagine that there will be one with the clutch that you are looking at, I have used my standard plates on all my 3 slipper clutches with no problems, you can upgrade to alloy plates at a later date, AJ Racing have the alloy, carbon etc sets.

Thanks iang, i'll send him that pic and ask him if the spider spring is included.

Ducnow,
you can use your original springs, bolts etc but just make sure that it definately is a slipper clutch, If you look on the back of the red pressure plate there should be no teeth ( only the standard non slipper has teeth on the back of the pressure plate )

I fitted mine myself by borrowing a clutch drum holder from a local honda dealer and it only took about 1 hour and was not brain surgery, the main thing to watch is to put the spacers in the correct way and to make sure the plates are in in the correct sequence.

I have an exploded diagram somewhere !!! If required.

Great!! Thanks a lot for the info, iang ;)

If you use the link there is a step by step guide on fitting a slipper clutch ( Most are very similar ), the picture be blown up by clicking on them.

Also the picture is an exploded diagram showing where the parts go.

Start with a friction plate at the back and the last plate installed must be a steel ( Against the pressure plate )

I do not suppose that you are in the Newcastle area as I could have helped you out with fitting.
