Not automatically ruling it out as an option ... just to be clear though, do you mean kids, parents or the government? Or, all of the above? :eureka: |
Why the kids of course ;) With no more horrible brats running around there'll be no more kid-napping, child molesting or child abuse. They wont grow up into lairy adolescents with attitude who think they are owed a living before getting a licence (or not eh CK?) and terrorising us legitimate road users and over pressed constabularies; and THEY won't grow up into pimply graduates taking away all the good jobs from us "Over 40's" even though we have the experience (just because our qualifications are a mere 20 years out of date); and THEY won't grow up into the slick haired greasy politicians who decide to give anyone with a job the right to pay more tax so that those who can't be bothered to get a job don't even have to try any more and get given everything on a plate Apart from wanting someone around to pay taxes to keep my pension going when I retire in 20 years time, no reason in particular    |
Here's some (apparently) genuine, and very odd, product labels sent to me this morning: On a Morphy Richards hairdryer -- "Do not use while sleeping" On a bag of Fritos -- "You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside." On a bar of Dial soap -- "Directions: Use like regular soap." On some Birds Eye frozen dinners -- "Serving suggestion: Defrost." On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom) -- "Do not turn upside down." On Marks &Spencer Bread Pudding -- "Product will be hot after heating." On packaging for a Rowenta iron -- "Do not iron clothes on body." On Boot's Children Cough Medicine -- "Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication." On Nytol Sleep Aid -- "Warning: May cause drowsiness." On most brands of Christmas lights -- "For indoor or outdoor use only." On a Japanese food processor -- "Not to be used for the other use." - what's that then??? On Sainsbury's peanuts -- "Warning: contains nuts." On an American Airlines packet of nuts -- "Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts." On a child's Superman costume -- "Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly." On a Swedish chainsaw -- "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals." - did this really happen? |

Eek! That doesn't bear thinking about. :o I see piggy banks are the latest pc victims. :puzzled: Bacon and pork will be banned from the shops next. |
There was a lady in the USA, some years ago when microwaves were the latest big idea, that washed her Poodle (thats a dog Mav!) and tried to dry it in the microwave!! She then successfully sued the manufacturers of the microwave because nowhere in the instructions did it say that she shouldn't try to dry her dog in the microwave :o |
.....and then there was the guy in the Winnebago who stuck in cruise control, went into the back to make a hot drink and was surprised that it crashed. He then successfully sues Winnebago. We all see burglars and bike thieves steal without the police making any attempt to catch them given its a waste if time when courts let them go (probably indicting the owner of the property for damaging the thief in some way) and then if they are imprisoned they are paroled early as Group 4 cannot provide room in the privatised prisons...... rant rant The answer is simply. Catch burglar/thief and cut his/her hands off and make them pass go when they apply for any disability rights. Hang on, don't some middle eastern countries already do this... not long to wait then. Time for bed I think Nurse...Nurse.... |
Why don`t we get the government to stop giving handouts to all the asylum seekers and parasites on the dole......................and don`t get me wrong here, some people are on the dole coz they`ve lost there jobs and are looking for work etc, its the free loaders from the eastern block countries etc that I cant stand. Crime rates have gone up, prostitition has increased and a lot of it has been a result of opening the flood gates to "asylum seekers".yea right! |
