Is that pants tikka or pants korma?

HW 27-Oct-2005 01:14

Nearly all my carbon bits, plus clutch cover and LED rear light cam from Casoli. Found them to be very good, except when I needed the rear light changing because they sent the wrong one. They agreed to change it, then forgot. A phone call sorted it though and they were apologetic. I'd deal with them again.
Quality and fit is good too, even is price is a bit on the high side on some things.

I would suggest you do a search Paul...and go back over the past couple of years.

I agree with rushjob...personal visits seem to be more reliable than post.

Having said that, 3 or 4 years ago, I bought a 'carbon' shock guard and a chain guard from them. The chain guard didn't fit at all, and needed alteration, and BOTH products were actually glass fibre matting with a layer of carbon on each side. I discovered this when I had to trim the bits to fit!

I would say definately go to the shop and inspect the parts yourself before buying. If your happy with them then everyones a winner.

Can't remember who it was (Adam?)...but someone off here took their bike in for a service with them, and whilst it was there, they sold parts off his bike to other people!

I suggest you DON'T go there personally unless you KNOW that your parts are in stock. I called in once (just passing) and had expected to buy a couple of things like a hugger and some heel guards and none were in stock.

I have had loads of stuff from David over the years and have never had any problems but I've never had it delivered.

On two occasions I arranged to collect stuff at the NEC and once at the Ally Pally show. Also KP in Aylesbury used to get me stuff.

My experience :-

Late delivery ... it's always "just sent". Never know why the have to lie.

i bought a single seat unit ... and it was a very different red to my bike with muchco runs, and some general grit and dust. As this involved paying to get it from the UK I was ****ed off.
I sent it back, and they refused to send another one ....

I bought a single seat pad, and again had fairy stories about when it was sent off 8 it was in fact posted 4 weeks after Dave told me it was going out "that day"

If you can see what you are buying then they are ok ....

Good range of products ...

Spare shack sold me a clutch cover at exactly 1/2 the price casoli were punting it out at ....

I've had a crabon hugger and single seat for my 748, couldn't fault the hugger fitted fist time no messing and I'v not had any problems since (about 2 years), the single seat qulity was good but the paint is very thin and chips far to easy. It fits quite well but when parked next a bike fitted with the standard item its higher at the back.
Delivery was late and it took several phone calls to get things moving.

Bradders,

Casoli look after my ST, and have done so for 2 1/2 years now, all without any problems that couldn't be sorted out staright away, and with what I believe to be a very high standard of workmanship.
I've always found their customer service impeccable - although as I only live around the corner, I've always called in to the shop in person, and in doing so - I've established what I feel is as a good relationship them (namely Chris).
If you like, I can always pop in on your behalf, and speak to them (just U2U at any time) as i shop in Sainsbury's, across the road from them, and that's pretty frequently.

Lee
