Twas indeed, the tank mountiing bolt slipped down into the top end and made a bit of a mess of the piston and head!!! It also seized the bike as she couldn't get to TDC!!!!

This was after a blat down a motorway and only when I pulled off did it lock up - pretty lucky really as had this happened at motorway speed, I might not be around today!!


Tip - ensure that the tank bolts are fixed using locktite!!! ;)
