I'm just gonna take DB killers and the laptop to remap for quieter cans :)

Max can pass legal day at Donny despite having open Sils that are supposed to be 105- Ho hum - I'm looking forward to it (unless i'm playing at Philip Island that is :D)

Nick - I agree with you, and had put a similar case forward to the management myself.

I won't be doing Assen though - it makes no real sense to me.

I thought I would probably have to miss out on Assen as I expected all the places to be taken by the time I have next years budget in place to see if I could do it or not. But as it looks as if places aren't filling that quickly I had better start thinking about budgeting for it and maybe selling off a few bits and pieces to pay for it.
must also remember to renew my passport.

I must do Assen. Will be a good reason to say hello to the family (and to check if Dutch women are really so pretty :D ).

Money, money, money!

Seems that Assen is becoming more of a "cost" issue.
Bear in mind that the 620 grid is (possibly) gonna be "richer" than the 583 grid and you can see where the majority of the starting grid will possibly come from?
Also think about those in the 583 grid that can "afford" to do it, will they have an advantage over those that might not be able to afford it? There'll possibly be fewer 583 competitors at Assen than in a UK race, so will they get more points for a similar performance because there'll be fewer 583 finishers in front of them? I don't have the time/means/ability to make my bike fit for the trackday noise regs, (if there was room to accomodate me as it's limited places anyway) so I couldn't enjoy doing the track that way. Then, if you have mechanical problems at a UK round and you've been unable to attend Assen, it's a double whammy.
I'd like to attend because it's gonna be a brilliant weekend;
Not because I'm being penalised in the "championship" if I dont go :frog:
I just wish next season was here now so I didnt have time to worry about such trivia!
:devil:

There are some things in life which just have to be done, racing at Assen is one of them, come what may this is just one of those things that has to be done and sod the cost :)
