well, you're not nicking 'Her Majesty', as popping out 98hp with her 1000 twin spark engine:P:P |

I was thinking more an SS ... but if you were going to sponsor me ;) I meant to say UP TO 1000cc air-cooled, two valve twins with a horsepower limit of 100 and a minimum weight of 160kg's on supercorsa's and wets. Now THAT would make me a very keen person indeed! :D |
well.....she is run in quite nicely now...and AK will have the bits needed to go on track - from the amount of spares Tango brought with her..... But we have 2 of the 4 Ducati's going on track already - and then I wouldnt have a road bike:( |

Having ridden my 620SS and loved every minute of it I can only imagine how good a 1000 with proper sticky tyres would be, I am so tempted LOL ! |

The more I think about it the more I think it would be an excellent series! I'd be way keen to enter this! Lets start it Tony :D |
LOL I am not allowed to spend any more on bikes this year...........altho I have found a mint 2003 900SS very very cheap, I was gonna just build a trackday bike that looks identical to my 620 but with 100hp.....bugger must step away from the bike trader.... |

That's ok, the year is nearly over. Only a month and a half and you can start shopping again! Nelly got 100 horespower out of Blueduke and I think it would be even easier out of a dual spark 1000cc engine. I think John Hackett has already done it, and Neil Spalding from Sigma Performance has some plans in that direction as well. If you like the idea of that, take a look at this bike! More here I'd really like one of those .... mmmmmm |
the 1000ds engine puts out about 94/95 hp stock. comparison here for 2005 models (M1000sie & SS1000) http://www.ducati.com/bikes/my2005/c...son&x=105&y=10 HTIOH? C:) |
I tried to resist but it's completely irresistable! Here's a gratuitous pic of the NCR - damn it's GORGEOUS! ![]() |
