It can't be that bad ... can it ... I'm abit concerned now, ah well I'm gonna have to ride the bike sometime in the rain, might as well can some practise at it before the season starts ... now where did I put my rukka :D

If it is wet, just be aware that Donny is a bit more slippery in the wet than most other tracks - although it didn't slow the experienced guys down much.

I'll accept that one ;)

I don't do rain!! Did I ever tell you about the last time I rode in rain? It was waaaay back in 1990-something blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah yawn!

If my bike is ready in time I might do this as it's local :)

Grib 13-Nov-2005 23:25

My bike's in little tiny pieces, spread between our workshop and SPR in Nottingham, so I can't get any practice in :( If it's not snowing I might tape the Aprilia's radiator up and take her for another run :)

Don't forget there's no garages at Donny currently, just been demolished, no idea if there's still power etc for warmers

couchcommando 14-Nov-2005 11:17

They have 2 giant tents up JPM :)

I've just booked 5th December, No Limits, Donington GP circuit. As none of my trackdays so far this year have given me the warm, dry, sunny weather I hoped for, I'll be glad to be out there as long as it's not snowing. I just want to get the bike on the track to see how she handles. If it's a short day because it's brass monkeys, I reckon at £69 I'll still get my money's worth.

I don't think the issue of madness is in question, here :sing::sing:

No Ruth, no question of madness at all ;)
