Very good buy Eric, I'll be interested in what changes you do and what Dyno reading you get before hand, I had the odd dice with Marcus on some circuits and on others he just cleared off. So it will be interesting to see how your lap times compare :o Hate to think of you spending money on the bike and ending up going slower  |
well at the moment it just has a open air box and a set of cans, on the standard settings so it should be what 62? Marcus said they had some clutch slipping problems during the year. and trouble getting it off the line without rattling his teeth out. :D he did say he had a good time doing it. I've only ridden four track days this year after a seven year spell of no riding at all. Snetterton the first time on a duke, Brands GP for the first time, Caddwell for the first time, and Brands Indy at the end of the year with 57 seconds on me 916, so no fireworks but plenty to come, no rush I don't like pain. To be honest it would have spoilt my year if I had wrecked the 916 tracking. I know if i get the new bike set up to stop and turn well it will help me go faster sooner. Marcus at Brands race 1 9th fastest lap 58.17 race 2 10th fastest lap 57.43 Just going to get stuck in there and see what i can do next year but I don't want to have any excuses that the bike I'm riding isn't as good as the next one. just the old git riding it hasn't got the mineralls. :D [Edited on 27-11-2005 by ericthered40] |
