I just have... although I didn't sell the house, coz it's rented, and didn't sell the bikes, coz I don't own any!!

But I did jack it all in on Monday, and I'm moving to a new house this weekend!!

Very very very hard decision as life is dictated by cashflow, but luckily I've managed to pull it off thanks to some great clients/friends.

I have been thinking about running off and working as a cowboy or something (and I don't mean a plumber etc).

Life is soooooooo dull.

Good luck with whatever you end up doing ;)

Used to, many times, then my hand was forced and big changes had to be made. Haven't looked back.
Money isn't everything. You do need it, but when you're up against it, you'd be surprised at what you can get by on.
There's always something round the corner. It might smack you in the nose sometimes, but if you don't take a look, you'll never know ;)

Urban.... I think we all do....but we don't.

There are times in your life when you can .... before marriage / kids / mortgage, but once you have those responsibilities it's very difficult to pluck up the courage to take the plunge.

If it's just you, or you and a partner I would say '' Just do it '' if things are that bad. Lifes too short.

And do what, the same again. Very rare that the grass on the otherside stays green for very long.
But they do say a change is good as a rest.

Id love to leave the Rat race & opt for a basic life.

If i hadnt seen such riches i could live with being poor!!!

I've met people like that, but they still had thousands tucked away in the bank from when they were on megamoney.:saint:

Interesting replies - glad to know I'm not the only one who feels like this from time to time!

Problem at the moment is I live in Northampton but work in Camberley so I'm away all week, which was fine while I was a contractor but since I took a staff job.... suddenly it seems like a life sentance.... :(

"If i hadnt seen such riches i could live with being poor!!!" - Nice quote - James, Sit down I believe.. lot of truth in that

Cheers
Martin
