Wasn't the 250N the "SuperDream", with the 250 being just a mere "Dream"? |

 Wasn't that the old CB72/77/92? Mine was candy apple orange, but I had a mauve K3 for spares. K4 was a basket case for 40 quid and the K3 50 quid outthe back shed of a bike shop in orpington The bit I liked about them was you could adjust the tappets perfectly as the rockershaft was off centre so you could run the engine unlock the shaft and move until the tapping just disappeared; and the oil filter was centripedal so you didn't have to buy and oil filter. On 3 bob a week that was an important consideration!:lol: Wish I'd kept both now, seen how much they are worth? :o Ains. |
Now wot about the CB350 in metallic green, about 33BHP and barks like a b*stard, proper bike me thinks. Anyone owned one?????? |

Very nearly! Ended up with a cafe racer 400/4 F2 instead. 410cc over bore, Leicester ali wheels, an ali tank made by the same bloke who made Baz Sheenes tanks, short conti exhaust and a 2/4 seat. TT 100's, 4.10 on front and 4.25 on the back. Did over 30,000 miles on it and never changed the front as it hadn't worn out! What's more never fell off it through the front washing out either. fell off it when the front sproket came off instead! :o Still got the tank though. Ains. |
