Domski is looking for a job Wilf - might be worth dropping him a u2u?:puzzled::saint:

I can give you specific dates that you really ought to make him work too:D

ah, seem to have had a most of the DD grid interested!

It wouldn't be every saturday, but most so would clash with racing (not just mine!!!)

thanks so far, the search continues...

Hey Wilf what about a job share, I am sure that we could get 3 or 4 of us together such that it wouldn't need then to be such a commitment for someone. Sounds like a brilliant job that some of us would consider doing for just our expenses and maybe the occasional job done on the bike;) It is something I've always wanted to do working in a bike shop:cool:

Hey that's a cool idea.

wilf 13-Feb-2006 12:53

No no no.

Thanks but that really wouldn't work, we work as a team and teams with lots of part time members dont work.

You wouldn't all want to share the staff discounts and I can only just fit one more staff bike in the engine room!

This job is just that - a job, not a hobby or something to do on the odd saturday off. Sorry if it was misleading but we need someone who our customers can get to know so they need to be here to work every Saturday. Even then, it will take some time to get the hang of it.

Customers are very demanding people and you really have to be prepared to go out of you way for them.

I guess a lot of people want to work in a bike shop as it is their hobby but its not quite as its seems.

Serious applicants should be prepared to put the hours / effort in. it can be quite demanding - but Very rewarding.
