On seeing Neal's photos, I'm thinking it's only going to fit the earlier 851 series bikes. I may be wrong...!

well you guys will be totally disgusted with my touring finesse, I carry the bare minimum in a bum bag and err post the rest on to my destination.
It has never failed me - well apart from the time an old gixxer packed up on me 300 miles short of where I wanted to be (Andermatt). I slept Ok for 2 nights while it was fixed but got really strange looks as the only clothes I had were my leathers, waterproof jacket, spare socks and pants...
I've never learnt though and continue the same way today, works great if you are running from a central point for 1-2 day run outs...
