You can see the tank cover at;

The tank bag clips to the cover. This looks like a newer version;

Both items are in RED

Even though i never used them mate, they were very very nice..

Good luck with the sale.

Completed the purchase of a bag on e-bay before seeing Everton's replies :rolleye: nevermind.

Have now got a nice red Oxford humpback tank bag. For 38 quid too, brand new with labels.

Sounds good enough to me. But could someone confirm that these bags fit the 748's tank well enough?

By nature of the way the magnets hold them on people tend to drag them off a little when removing them and bingo, nice scratch in yer paintwork. I've seen it a few times.

Found taht out when i had the R6, so i use that rubber mesh stuff you use to stop your tools sliding in your tool box, on the tank, then on goes the magnetic tank bag. Sorted:cool:

I went to Italy with a Baglux on the tank and an Oxford on the seat hump.

The baglux is fine, even comes in handy when you getting tired, you can rest your chin on it. The only real draw back is the fact that you have to uncip the front so that you can fill up now and again The oxford pack works well also, the drawback with this is if you are short legged like me you can't swing your leg over.

just to re-iterate. I'm asking about the fit of an oxford humback tankbag on any 916 derivattive's tank.

It'll be here tomorrow, with any luck, so I'll find out soon enough :)

As said earlier, fits fine, just use a cloth or rubber mesh to go between the tank & the tankbag, to stop the scratches.
