canned the idea .. too difficult I'm doing the same as you now and building a fresh bike from a monster frame 916 tank will go on that Will run my old bike with a fresh engine till it's sorted |
How much modifying can you do to the sub frame? Was reading through the regs this aft .. and I take it as as long as I used steel I can remodel the back end how I like as long at It measured 35 cm and I take the sub frame as anything past the last structural point |
Can you not just use the yoke from an ss on the monster? |

Not quite The subframe needs to remain standard up to 35 centremeters from the reference point, beyond that it can be modified and incorporates a bar of some form across the back between the two frame rails |
1 Attachment(s) Slow Progress as I'm spending more time in Qatar than the UK of late and when I have been back I've spent more time either working on engines or Dallas's DD bike than my own, as I always have the option of using last years bike at Brands |
Still need to sort the footrests, Bellypan, Seat Pad and swap the forks and shock |
Exhaust looks sweet Kev ... was thinking of a GP style one myself |
Less than a week and I can continue my 2014 prep :) |
