When I bought my shed, I had double doors put on it so the gap is about 1.2m wide. Also when I said it was for a bike they said they would put extra supports under the floor so it doesn't bow from the bike's weight.

Are you going to get a "bike garage" or shed made specifically for a bike? If so which one? If not is the shed that you are ordering on a web site somewhere? Just interested in which type of bike shed people have got as I might have to get one.

Also,(roughly) how 'wide' is its footprint once on the stand,ie does it lean over a lot?

On side stand lean from upright is approx 24cm or just over 9"inch

Just a regular shed mate as my garden is 'open plan' so to speak, and i think a shed is more inconspicuous,as well as looking nicer.

Im off to get it today so ill keep you updated.

well i've got a 7x5 shed and it fits in pefect, especially as it's narrow easier than my monster as i don't need to turn the bars in first!
