Totally agree with the others walk away and tell the dealer what you expect to pay for the deal and that you are talking to other ducati dealers. Even show him the prices from other dealers and trade them off against each other. Leave a contact number and wait for him to get back to you.

I find that most dealers will give you plenty of extras like tyres, huggers and free servicing rather than do a deal on price.

too much!!!

sounds a lot of dosh for a 748s as others have said there are better deals around and with winter around the corner is it worth rushing into, good luck anyway.:)

Hmmmmm....have a look

Interesting little site I found:

http://www.buybikesdirect.com

click on the prices button to d/l an excel price list, they are parallel imports and I dont any anything about the reliability of the shop but......

2002 - 748S - £7,850

good luck - Frank

P&H Motorcycles have an '03 registered 0 miles 748S for £7995.

Don't forget that all bikes get a 3 year warranty from new, so even buying second hand gives you the same guarantee as a new bike...

You sure about that antonye?

Thought it was 2 years?

As everybody is saying - seems pricey and I am not sure about the "value" or "collectability" of the grey bike either.

And well let's face it, you would greatly miss out on the greatest unsolved debate of Ducati Ownership, ie. better in Red or Yellow?

I\'m still thinking

Got everything else sorted, insurance price for p/x etc, just need to decide.

Alaways wanted one, but could get a new ~Cbr600rr for less.

Help!

Plunge

What about redsps bike?
He is looking for a quick sale and it appears to represent value for money.
