Yep, Jasper's pic is the way to go. Much cleaner. I'll wait until I can get some pukka lines made up then rather than going for standard banjos.

Not sure about the blue anodised though - I've got a phobia about coloured anodising in general and alloy brake fittings in particular - much rather have stainless

Thanks for all the help guys. But I still can't afford cast iron floaters - tell you what, why don't you give me them?

My fittings are are all stainless.I got them from HEL.I cannot praise their service high enough.Keep away from the alloy!!If you must have coloured ones, they do Titanium !!

Jools,

Are you going to go twin line or single then split? I have been messing about with twin lines on the 888 and I can now really see the installtion and running (doesn't weight the steering) advantage of a single line down the RH fork leg and a T over the mudguard, ala 916.

Rgds, Rob

Got the single line down the fork leg to the right hand P34 calliper, then a double banjo on that to loop over to the left calliper on the ST. Works well and I'm pleased with it, nice and neat too.

With the T8, I think I would prefer twin lines with the direct connection that Jasper's got, can't see how you could tee off from the caliper without going the 90 degree banjo route otherwise.

To be honest I would only bother about the brake lines weighting the steering if I was more like Rossi and less like Tossy

You are like Rossi,he puts his foot down when he out brakes himself as well:bouncy:
