Great to hear that you're enjoying the MTS......not that it's any surprise! :D Not seen the Powerbronze dark screen....a photo would be good ;-) Thnx Andy www.MTS1200.info and https://www.facebook.com/UK.MTS1200.Owners |
I'll post a pic when I get the hang of putting them on here. I got it off ebay for £49.99, it's a tad over half the height of the original. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200882874705 |
Thanks, I'll be interested to see what it looks like on the bike and hear your thoughts on it in use. 1 Attachment(s) Not too dark when tucked in behind. |
1 Attachment(s) When it it's highest it's roughly the same height as the standard at it's lowest. |
It looks good, I was a bit dubious of the style/shape of the top of the screen but it does look good on the bike. You'll have to let us know how it performs ;-) NB: you need to clear out your garage and get that garage door painted! lol Cheers Andy www.MTS1200.info and https://www.facebook.com/UK.MTS1200.Owners |
Apologies, It's a bit lower than a standard but it's fine up to 90-100ish. Get a bit of head wobble over that but a slap of the other half generally happens before the wobble. |
Thanks :D ......are you on the www.ducatiforum.co.uk forum? ......much more MTS1200 discussion/info over there ;-) Cheers Andy (AndyW) www.MTS1200.info and https://www.facebook.com/UK.MTS1200.Owners |
Update....... The Le Mans via Paris trip was brilliant, I kept the short screen on and didn't have a problem at all. We covered just over 1,200 miles in 4 days. All I can say is I don't regret buying the Multi 1 tiny bit, 2 up round town with fully loaded panniers it felt perfectly balanced, blasting down the Mways nothing could touch it and the grunt from low revs to max power was amazing. Going steady it did 200 miles fully loaded on a tank, so stops were few and far between. Which made it so much more bearable then the VTR (100 miles if you were very lucky). The only issue is a bolt that has come loose in the tail tidy causing the rear light to flicker now and then but it's going back to the dealer next week to be sorted (while under warranty why faff with it myself?). Bit of a flat spot on the rubber hoops now but it was still turning heads as we pulled into our road back home. Verdict - ace bike! |
Great :D ................any cool photos of the Mutley in Paris or at La Mans?? ;-) Cheers Andy (AndyW) www.MTS1200.info and https://www.facebook.com/UK.MTS1200.Owners |
