Never had a problem with them myself. Are they having a bad time? |
Sorry to hear about you run of BAD LUCK. Those Tsubaki chains, do they need a special fitting tool ? |
I have a DID chain on mine now I did have a EK break on me last year ! and it smashed the crankcase like it normaly does on the 996 :mad::mad: Has anyone got any news on the protector plates that some one was going to get made as I still want to buy one ! Age |

Well EK are even worse than DID! [real-life check] I've never had any chain break on me (and God knows, my sympathies to those who have), but I found EK didn't last for any time at all compared to DID. Nowadays I stick to Afam (which may or may not be the same as some other make, I don't know),which I've found last much longer than anything else. [/real-life check] |
My first one went on the way to Matlock (Sorry Ray)110 mph on the M1. The second one i found when cleaning the chain by hand! This one is history 80ish !! Nuts! Time for a change! Yorkie. |
Many thanks to John Warrington for sorting me out with a paddock stand and ordering the sprocket set! Top bloke! Yorkie. |
