We're just waiting for our visas to be rubber stamped to emigrate, but heading to Queensland rather than WA. U2U me if you want any hints and tips.

i would
if it don't work out come back
you will probably regret it if you dont give it a go

I'm glad i went and to be honest i often regret coming home but i don't really think the lifestyle was for me and maybe thats reflected in my opinion of the place.

The only thing i would add to all of the above is that going there for a holiday and going there with the intention of making a new life are two totally different things.

I miss the cheezels though!

Cheers everyone - this message board never ceases to amaze me with the depth of knowledge of all things and the helpfulness of people.

When I get some time I will drop some of you a u2u and have a chat, nothing like speaking to people who've been. There seems to be a real split amongst people I know who've been - they either love it and stay or are home again with a few months.

Jools - you're right - it's a feck of a long way from Grafham, and that's actually a big thing - most of my other mates from Northampton have already spread themselves around the globe - Sunday's ride reminded me what a great club the DSC is and what great people the members are :D

Cheers
Martin
