filtered thru some heavy traffic recently which had built up due to an accident, got to the pile up and the fire crew were cutting a guy out of his car, looked bad.....little further (approx 100yds) and some dopey bird was driving along texting on her mobile not even looking ahead...and she had just passed a serious pile up ! i think its the "it`ll never happen to me" mentality thats one of the problems....or try driving, or riding at the speed limit for a week and count how many people look at you with complete hate in their eyes.....

This thread is useless without pictures.................:D

Just by chance, we reached some traffic lights where our route was obviously diverging. He was in the right turn lane as I wanted to go left, but by chance we were queued up side by side. So I looked across at him and said "Nice car mate, how much did it cost?", "About 35K" he replied. So I said "You know, on cars that cost that much you'll find there's a stalk near the steering wheel and if you flip it up or down it'll make lights flash on the side of your car that let other drivers know where you're going instead of haveing to use fecking telepathy"

:lol::lol::lol: Priceless

That's the sort of thing I think of saying, ......but in my case it's allways about twenty minutes after the incident:(

Mind boggling. I've seen most of the above(with the execption of the self service pleasure seeker!)

But I did think the it was a myth about Volvo drivers, But no. They really are complete tw@ts.

Are they like this before they buy the car, or did the car make them cretins?

I don't know, since I bought a Volvo 5 years ago I've become too cretinous to remember whether I was a cretin before I bought it ;)

Leaving St.Neots the other morning, still in a 30-bus coming the other way with the driver drinking a cup of tea/coffee-whatever, it was hot cause I could see the steam coming off the top of the cup. Best thing was he had passengers on board, he was sat up there so visible-I wished I was a traffic cop-I think we may have 'had words'.:mad:

Lit blo*dy cigarettes! Been hit twice by them after they have been lobbed out a car.
Years ago it happened to a mate of mine. Cigarette out the window, hit the visor and instant fireworks.
Lucky for him and unfortunate for the bloke my mate is also a smoker, so at the next traffic lights he pulls up alongside. Has enough time to light up a match and put it in with the rest of a box of live swanvesta. Waited a couple of seconds for the smoke to appear then dumped them in the lap of the car driver through the still open window. Gloves back on and then drove off.
So :cool:

One of the best I saw was a guy "driving" an old Vauxhall on the M25 just before the M4 turn off when all the lanes were full of traffic but moving at around 60mph. Geezer was wandering around a bit but holding his position about 3 feet behind a white van perfectly, seemed to be fiddling with something like string then proceeded to use it with both hands to floss his teeth !!!!

Next best was a **** on the M23 who had a mobile phone in one hand and an electric razor in the other, admittedly the traffic was light at the time of this incident so his weaving across all the lanes was only of minor irritation to other road users.

Still, at least neither of them were over the speed limit so I guess it must have been safe enough innit ???:D:D
