02, 748 bip bedding in tyres 165! [Edited on 10-5-2006 by Martinp] [Edited on 10-5-2006 by Martinp] |
This is the first year that I've had the bike, but at the moment I generally reckon on 90 miles. |
140 - 150 748R at slow pace and 70 - 90 when having some fun:bouncy::bouncy: |
So far it seems like about 120, mainlly on a rural commute. However it also seems that if you warm the bike up thoroughly before using it to look after the rockers, then the length of trip has quite an impact too. If I use the best part of a tank in one ride it goes up to around 140. |
140 -150 748s |
Dunno - my fuel light sender is fooked so it's a bit erratic. Generally look for a garage when I've got 80-90 miles on the trip meter. Normally, just after filling up I get the fuel light "on"... :puzzled: Hey, I didn't buy my bike because it would be cheap to run!! RX |
We have a winner! 748E and 200 before the light comes on - shame speedo/trip is in kms :lol: !!! Tend not to trust the fuel light and only rely on the trip - a throwback to my old 907 which would go from half full to empty on the guage on the same straight under acceleration and braking! |
ST4 - I usually fill up after 150 miles, the fuel light is nearly always on for the last 5 or so. Im too chicken to see how far it would go before it ran out but the most i have done without running out is 165. |
Never gone below 140, even when having major fun. 02 748R :P |
110 to 125 on brimmed tank 748E with standard exhaust cans. |
