tho' to be fair.......combination of both would be better ! |
Ian, can you post a pic of bracket ? take a look at these pics there is some kinda bracket above the (ahem...) lovely carbon heelguard......mmmm nice ![]() ![]() |
1 Attachment(s) Graham, the problem will be that the flattened pipe has a carbon guard on it similar to the normal guard on the assymetric system which would either get in the way of the Corse guards or if removed will leave the mounting brackets. See Nathans bike picture ( I think ?) I will take a picture of the bracket a little later.I have been informed by someone that it is a fairing mounting bracket but where it is meant to go I do not know ! The weather is not great here today (60% chance of rain ) and the roads are still damp so if it does not improve I will fit it today rather than go out. How do you include pictures on the thread now instead of thumbnails ? |
THose two vertical bolts you can see are the repositioning of the rear brake master cyl! That bracket you talk about in the kit is meant as a replacement osr lower fairing mount bracket. |
There is also a guy on Ebay that does nice highly polished stainless connecting springs as well. F |
57mm system 1 Attachment(s) the bracket is fitted under the rear brake master cylinder but also try a few spacers as the carbon fairing inner foam touches the rear down pipe |
1 Attachment(s) Fitted it ! |
looks very nice as per the other ones i have seen, have you noticed any change in sound over the standard race kit termis? |
It seems to sound a little bit crisper and more 'metallic' and has a deeper note. Not been out on it to test it properly yet. |
nice.....................I'm jealous now |
