Can't get a decent coffee?? I had the same problem after the first time i went to Italy and just like Italian motorbike ownership its going to cost you if you want to sort it :D For a quick decent easy to make espresso you need one of these or these then order a nice mixed case of lavazza beans then you'll need a set of these as well :D :D

Morning Steve. Did you see the 'shortened' WSB last night? Still manage to fit in the adverts though, don't they?

I think I've probably had enough tea and coffee this morning. Something to improve my mood would be good - Bucks Fizz please ;-)

Since when have there been tea plantations in Yorkshire - I know you Tykes are tight and prone to exaggeration but that takes the biscuit so to speak. (no pun intended)

As for great coffee - it has to be Italian and the brand "Illy". Check it out, you can get it in the UK if you look hard enough.

I don't like virtual anything - so welcome to a great "real" club - DSC is the real thing. And in a real pub I'd have a pint of Pedi.

Or, for a more simple and less 'gizmoey' type of coffee, you need these items and 3 heaped tablespoons of Columbian coffee.

I'm learning that the hard way.
It's starting to rain here, looks like it could be a wet one again this year.
So why did I come back again?
Should have stayed, don't know if I could really enjoy gettings as wet as last year again.
All I can see is my poor 7 year old's wet face looking up at me saying are we really having a good time dad?

Sorry Ruth, coffee snob alert :D :D I've got a few machines, the automatic Ti Gaggia (Claire and Jon have one identical so you'll get to try it tomorrow), also a traditional Solis single brew head and Rocky grinder, I sold my Jura which was very trick, made a great brew but kept breaking down, it was sort of like Ducati ownership only I don't rely on my bikes, I did on the coffee machine :) We're off to a cottage in Wales this week and the Solis will be packed in the van as its unlikely I'll find a decent coffee :)

Have fun then. If good coffee's in short supply, just make sure you pack some PG Tips T Bags - can't go wrong with a decent cup of tea! Same cup size required as pictured - holds a pint. I'm packing it to take to Claire's, just in case they don't have proper cups up there

Mike and Linzi's frappaccinos [sp?] are the badger's tadgers, they get my full support! Choice of three different flavourings, too, it doesn't come any better!
