MOT passed OK - but thank god I fitted the locknuts on the adjusters, I had to adjust it again as it was STILL too high. Jools, its not an MOT station but a local shop that deserves some support - all the mechanics are good lads. They all gave my Duke a good looking over and seemed to notice quite a lot of the changes I've made. Its DAMN good to be back on the road again... I'd just forgotten how quickly 70+ mph comes up when using a bike on the road ;) Frank |

But you are getting faster, mate... ;) Some day soon. :p |

I'm starting to wonder about the reflector issue myself - cant find any mention of the need for a separate reflector on the MOT websites I've looked at so far. However, on my new seat unit it is just the 916 style rear light - no reflector is obvious at all. Frank |
Confused me as well. The standard light on my SS has a reflector built into the lens and this has always been adequate for the MOT. All the bikes I have ever owned have had the reflector in the lens. I would say that the reflector is separate from the lens that covers the bulb. In the case of the SS it is above the bulb. |

Frank, Where do you get stick on round reflectors from, I 've searched all my local bicycle/bike shops to no avail! Cheers, RX |
My lights needed re-aligning so the MOT station/garage did it for me for free, and it passed with no rear footpegs. I do vaguely remember something about seperate reflectors from a few years ago! |
RickyX - reflector is rectangular not round - found a few sources for em: http://www.motorcycle-parts-and-acce...8fac4ec2161a8e dreaded Fleabay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/18-bright-self...mZ130001837119 Frank |
