They are OK for road use but not very good for racing. Even EBC doesn't recommend them for racing. They go off very quickly.

Ahhh, ha. One lives and learns, I will keep this in mind when the 748 is retired to the track next season. I can see me asking a lot of questions next year. :)

best thing you can do is get a kx500... looking at the state of that track
