thanks for the help, moto-one is where i've read it before.
i would chop it in for a 999 but i'm not sure it would be cheaper as mines done 13000 and the big service has been done at carl harrisons (top man) as opposed to a dealer (who comically quoted me "up to £900") so trade in wouldn't be great.
i've ridden mine through every type of weather and (wood touched) no problems as yet so i know i've got a good 'un plus we all like to be a little different ;)
i'll have to weigh up the options at the end of summer
