Sticker I've got an SP4 that suffered some cack-handed handling by mechanics when the engine was being removed. Result - one destroyed screen. I tried in vain to remove the sticker - heat, steam, white spirit, prayer to no avail. Ended up trying a razor blade, chopped the sticker up in a mad frenzy and almost ended up cutting my own wrists!! It just seems like there's something missing. How sad is that? By the way, I need somebody to perform a total engine rebuild (refer to cack-handed mechanics above). Any recommendations? Cheers Fred |
Sorry folks, you will have to go with plan B.The stickers I thought I had have gone.:( (Along with the 851 Superbike ones.) Mind you,I did find a load of other stuff I had forgotten about, like a 1992 Fast by Ferracchi catalogue,an autographed poster of Foggy on the Moto Cinelli 888 and a genuine Ducati sports watch from the Cagiva era. Oh yeah and some stickers, magazines and sales brochures from the same period. Gawd, dont you collect some *****e!;) |
Agreed mate - what a bunch of cack. Therfore, I will do the honourable thing of letting you post it all to me - hell, i'll even meet you half way on the postage....lol !! Nat |
Good news. I can probably get those stickers, originals from Ducati :) Just give me a couple of days to check. @KeefyB: like Nat I'm also interested in that bunch you have... |

Nat, as per post #7 ~ yup, me too please. Ains. |
Hi, I would like one also please,i do have one but it's attached to my origanal screen that lives in my study,as i'm 6ft tall and use a taller flip up screen, this seems to work ok at almost legal speeds when i'm in my "70's MW racing . leathers, however when i'm in my all singing and dancing leathers, my shoulders stick out in the airflow and a weave sets in!causing me to hang on and show it who's boss. Not sure who's in charge then!
