I tried taking advise from pepipoo a couple of years ago, didnt disclose driver details etc due to the "test case", ended up with 4 points and £350 fine, my advice is dont try to be clever, fill it in and return it if it was you |

BIG BROTHER IS BAD ENOUGH ON TV ! Why do we have to have it on the roads as well ?! I got off mine because the officer who zapped me had a mobile phone on her which was switched on ! Read the ACPO @ (it's there to offer you a degree of protection against 'mistakes' made buy the user) http://www.acpo.police.uk/asp/polici...2 0.pdf%20%22 find out what kit you were "detected" by & use the info it gives you accordingly if you want a copy of my letter(s) that I sent, let me know good luck G |
Sharpy Any letters etc would be greatly appreciated. Will update you when I can get some info from them about the detection equipment! |
better pm me your email addy |
from that code of practice linky thing, I've always been amused by this statement: Never point a speedmeter at a civil or military aircraft, vessel or armoured vehicle. Many military aircraft, vehicles or vessels have target acquisition detectors, some of which initiate automatic counter measures. |

Oh...if only  |
I had this at work earlier in the year, slightly different circumstances since the offence was in a company owned vehicle. Genuine "could not identify the driver", possible one of four culprits. Received the NIP, wrote back advising of the problem providing full details. About one month later received a rather officious letter threatening all sorts of punishment which I really did'nt like the tone of and binned. 2 months later the company received a summons, I went to Court this June and we were fined £300 for not disclosing the driver and no points were received on any licences. Prior to attending court I did gen up on the pepipoo site tho' |
Could always keep to the limits.......................:D How difficult is that? |
When you see just how many people are getting done --king not Difficult by the looks of things. If only the prat,s behind the camera's were a little more tolerant and aimed it at the real speedster's and vehicles that should'nt be even on the road. How many times do you see complete prats on the road and never a copper or "camera " anywhere in sight to do dam all about it. Drive along an open road with no one else on it and no danger to anyone else and some nobhead moneymaking ****bag does the dirty all in the name of "Safety" Bit like Police cars travelling along the Motorways at 70 ther'e the only vehicle doing that speed, every other normal person is getting on with their journey then having to slow down in a panic as every one brakes causing mayhem behind for the next two miles "Safety" my arse. When you ride or drive "progressively" you are more alert, more safe,no wonder you see signs on the motorway "Take a break tiredness kills" at some of our speed limits no wonder people fall asleep, bloody boredom. Rant over, Ill go and lie down now, have a Power nap, take a pill  4D (Cant wait to see the reply's ) |
