Try it - if you like it then so be it - if you don't then buy another Duke !

Ducatis don't suit everyone - a kwak may suit you, it may not. If you don't try you'll always wonder.

It's a bike - there to do a job for you.To please you. ( unlike me who'll never buy another bike as long as live )

But others do and and will. Your choice - Your life - You do as you see fit :)

I chose a cbr6 once in my life - due to reports from all sites. Good bike, nothing wrong with it, but was I engaged ? Nope.

Did I go and look at my cbr6 ? Nope - Do i look at my duke - god yes :D

my mate bought one a couple of months ago and we chop and change bikes on a long run.
my first go i was expecting the torque of a duke and the screaming jap top end after reading all the mags but i found it quite tame until its wound up. it's a lot more flickable than my bike (749s) but nowhere near as stable when it's lent over. the seat is comfy but i found it to close to the bars and the pegs are too high for me (6'2) it felt like my kneecaps were going to pop off after 80 miles.

that said it still a cracking bike, just not for me. it's nothing to do with looks just the riding postion, torque and twitchyness. why not get down the local dealer and take one for a spin?

i'm sure in last weeks bikemart i saw a big ad selling them new for £5299
