Wouldn't have thought so

the Ohlins shock for a 600 monster is the DU440

Part no: DU 440
Type: 46HRC
Length: 330mm
Stroke: 65mm
Fits: Ducati Monster 600(1994-2001), Ducati Monster 750(1994-2001), Ducati Monster 900(1994-2001)

Documents: Mounting instructions

You will find that you have to turn the shock through 180 so that the reservoir
does not fowl the frame.

Or, call Rich @ Louigi Moto - he does a jack-up kit (as Psychlist said). Kyle has them on his bike and that bike handles effing amazingly!!!!
